With the expansion of direct interaction among parts and vehicle production bases abroad, and globalization of supply, the nature of Japan’s international business has changed?from the once-conventional bilateral dealings between two countries to a more interactive, triangular configuration. To adapt proactively to this changing environment, we projected needs in advance and are providing optimal QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) performance on a global scale and from the customer’s viewpoint, enabling us to support the production activities of Honda and its suppliers in an effective and timely manner. |

| One of Honda Trading’s strengths is well-balanced QCD performance. We work hard to reduce costs and delivery lead-time by optimizing distribution systems, while making parts management an integral element of line production. By looking ahead to project the changing needs of a new era in advance, we have honed our QCD services and earned the trust of our customers over almost 30 years of parts export. In conjunction with overseas bases, we are developing global exports to Honda motorcycle, automobile and power equipment production plants and related suppliers worldwide.
In addition, in 2005 we began introducing a new Asian distribution system called “S to S,” as a way to begin adding new value for our customers by offering enhanced business efficiency. |

| Recognizing the growth of global procurement and the increasing borderless nature of world trade and commerce, Honda Trading vigorously maintains its cooperative and supportive systems for Honda and other manufacturing clients. We import cost- and quality-competitive foreign parts such as catalytic converters and seat covers from North America, electrical components from Europe and parts for motorcycles and power equipments from other parts of Asia. Imports from Asian countries including China have been increasing in recent years. |
